Aarthi Arab, MD

Aarthi Arab, MD, is an obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while ensuring every patient feels heard and supported. She sees patients at Advanced OB/GYNE Associates in Hoffman Estates and Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Arab earned her medical degree from Central Michigan University in Saginaw. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois.

Dr. Arab provides comprehensive OB/GYN care and has particular interests in low- and high-risk obstetrics, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and contraceptive care. She takes time to answer questions, explain options clearly, and involve patients in decisions about their health and treatment.

When surgery is needed, Dr. Arab offers minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, including vaginal and robotic surgery, as well as open abdominal surgery when appropriate. She uses current, evidence-based medicine to guide treatment while considering each patient’s individual needs, preferences, and goals.

Dr. Arab is committed to creating a welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds and providing culturally competent, personalized care. She strives to build trusting relationships where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and asking questions.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Arab enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and exploring more of Illinois.
